Wow

I had no idea learning ASL was going to be like this! I now know what an immersion courses is. I study very hard. I did find a tutor named Brittany.
I studied every Saturday with my friend Brian before I came here. I know a little bit of sign. Until you ask me in class, then I just panic. I do not know why. I think it is because I want to do it right. I get sick @ my stomach!
My friend Brian is very lonely. He has six brothers but none of them sign! His dad cannot sign due to an accident he lost his fingers. His mom is the only one that can sign. We do not have deaf culture in our area.
I don't know how you do it, you have one child and one on the way, you work full time. I know that you have to be tired. It has to be frustrating for you when we keep asking you again, again, again. But it is the only way that we learn.
You have shown me how it feels to be in a world where you don't understand. I hope that I become a good interpreter and never leave a student alone and confused. It is going to be a long road isn't it?????
